About Us

Healthline Medical Group is a well-established (36 years) Occupational Medicine/Urgent Care/Family Medical practice looking for a full-time MD/DO BC/BE  Occ. Med./Family Medicine/Internal Medicine physician to join us in Van Nuys (Los Angeles), California.

We are a grounded and experienced yet forward-thinking independent practice where every patient is treated as a human being, rather than just a number. We pride ourselves on offering the highest level of professional service for Occupational Medicine, Urgent Care, and Family Medicine. That approach is incorporated in our office culture, giving every employee the opportunity to make a huge difference in improving our patients’ health.

We do our best to prevent injuries from occurring in the workplace, and when they do occur, to help the patient return to their normal work and home activities as soon as possible. We provide a professional Family Medicine environment for patients and employees while ensuring the safest possible outcomes for the community.

Required qualifications:

California Licensure: MD/DO
3+ years experience in Family Practice, Urgent Care, Occupational Medicine, or Emergency Room medicine
Excellent communication skills
Comfort working with an electronic health record (EHR) system
Interest in working with new technology
Active and unrestricted DEA licensure State of California


Preferred qualifications:

Knowledge of disability ratings
Certified MRO, as well as FMCSA certification to perform DOT examinations (We will cover the cost of this certification for an applicant who is not already certified.)
Ability to prepare Status Reports, DFR’s, PR-2 and PR-4 reports pertaining to any factors of permanent disability and determining the need for future medical care
Knowledgeable with the language and terms – specifically, ACOEM and MTUS – associated with injured worker treatment in California
Spanish language ability
