Coaching and Mentoring
Occupational Health Sales and Marketing: This ten-session telephonic coaching program, beginning Friday, April 11, will be facilitated by RYAN Associates President and CEO Frank Leone. Each session will offer a lecture on a weekly topic and a review of completed homework assignments. Audio recordings of each session will be available to participants should they miss a session or join the class after April 11. For more information, click here.
Ten Weeks to Operational Excellence: This program is the operational equivalent of the sales and marketing class. Facilitated by RYAN Associates Senior Principle Donna Lee Gardner, R.N., M.B.A., it will begin Wednesday, June 4. The 10 sessions will provide detailed suggestions on how to develop an organized, cost-effective occupational health program. For more information, click here.
Conferences
Practical Training in Occupational Health Sales and Marketing: (San Francisco, Hyatt at Fisherman’s Wharf, May 28-30, 2014). This two-and-a-half-day training program will include lectures, workshops, special exercises, and mock presentations. An industry staple since 1988, the program is ideally suited to new or inexperienced occupational health sales professionals and anyone else interested in the topic. RYAN Associates’ 28th Annual National Conference: (Philadelphia, Hyatt Regency, October 13-15, 2014). Plans for the 2014 national conference are underway.
- The conference will include 12 multi-session courses selected by a vote of NAOHP members as well as numerous special sessions and other academic features.
- The four major 2013 social event sponsors (UL, Net Health, Health Connections Network, and Meditrax) will return this year, ensuring another series of off-the-chart parties.
- As of press time, 23 vendors have registered for the Tuesday vendor exhibit; the exhibit hall will be full.

Spring Webinar Series
Complying with the New DOT Regulations: This three-session webinar begins Wednesday, April 16, 2014, one month before the official May 21 compliance date. Dr. Natalie Hartenbaum will head up an array of faculty experts on the topic.
