November 7-10, 2021  ·  Palm Springs

A huge THANK YOU  to all who attended our conference last week.  Although Covid kept our in-person attendance down from previous years, there was just as much excitement and enthusiasm for the valuable content, incredible speakers, and unsurpassed networking opportunities for our special little corner of medicine.

Congrats to our award recipients:

  • Wanda Ellithorpe Fletcher Nursing Award – Chaley Shipley.
  • Founders Award – Donna Lee Gardner

We were so fortunate to have Barbara Khozam as our keynote speaker this year.  Her presentation about customer service was as informative and practical as it was entertaining and humorous.  Several people told me this was the best keynote we’ve had and can’t wait to hear more from Barbara.

Here’s a little something I had to just say about her during the conference

You can learn more about Barbara’s customer service training and consulting here–

That kicked off 2 1/2 days of occupational health wisdom from speakers with decades of experience in clinical, operational, sales and marketing, finance, regulatory and every other aspect of providing employer health care services.

And what all of us really enjoyed was finally seeing each other again face to face and the networking opportunities to enhance our businesses even more.

Palm Springs weather didn’t disappoint, with one of our 2 evening receptions out on Master’s Plaza with food, drinks and live music.

This left us with tons of ideas for next year’s conference when more of you may be able to attend, and for other educational topics we’ll be queueing up for you in Town Hall and monthly webinars.

Watch for our email with the survey to tell us where you’d like to go next year and what you’d like to learn about.

AND you can still jump in to all the recorded sessions from last week, check it out here:

Do you have to be a member to get the 3 for 2 deal?

No, anyone can do the 3 for 2 deal, but there are additional discounts for members, and of course many other member benefits throughout the year, well worth it!

For this conference, do I have to pick 1 track and stick with it for the entire conference, or can I pick and choose sessions from each track to fit my practice? Is there more than 1 session to choose from at a time?

You can pick and choose whatever you like! There are 3 concurrent sessions throughout the day. We try to avoid major interest overlap in our schedule (e.g. clinical people would mostly attend both work comp and DOT/regulatory exams so those are not usually scheduled at the same time).

If we have more than 3 attendees, can we get a bigger discount?

Yes! Reply here or email to say how many are in your group. We’re happy to extend the 3-for-2 pricing on a prorated basis to your entire group.
